Sacramento Kings broadcaster Grant Napear ripped Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins for his recent comments about Toronto Raptors fans.

Cousins recently uttered expletive remarks when he was asked about how the crowd in Scotiabank Arena reacted when Warriors star Kevin Durant went down with an injury. Durant hurt his Achilles in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals, and some fans cheered to the disappointment of Cousins and other players from both teams.

While most fans understood where Cousins is coming from, Napear said that Warriors star is the worst player to ask about fans. The Kings commentator insisted that Cousins has no credibility in talking about fan behavior and how they are treating opposing players because of previous incidents he witnessed.

“I have witnessed DeMarcus Cousins cursing on fans for no reason at all,” Napear said via KNBR Hosts and Media. “I've seen him curse at women. I've seen him curse at people at the airports. I've seen him curse in front of ladies that have nothing to do with the sport he's playing. For him to be talking about the fans, shame on him.”

Napear added that Cousins is the rudest player that he has ever been around in his entire career as commentator. Cousins spent six and half seasons with the Kings before he was dealt to the New Orleans Pelicans in 2017.
