The Golden State Warriors are one of the most dangerous teams in the NBA when fully healthy. They fall a few spots in the NBA rankings with Klay Thompson on the sideline, but they will still be a very competitive team in the Western Conference.

Former Warriors forward Matt Barnes weighed in on the Dubs this season, and how they need to prepare for the 2020-21 campaign without Klay.

Barnes spoke specifically about the players filling on for Klay: Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre.

“You can’t replace someone like Klay,” Barnes said on the Barnes said on 95.7 The Game's “Damon, Ratto and Kolsky” show, per NBC Sports. “Klay is one of the best two-way players in the game — one of the greatest shooters we’ve ever seen and we know what he does on the defensive end…Being the best versions of Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre is what they need to do, and I think that’s what they’re focused on,”

Both Oubre and Wiggins are very talented players. Gifted with natural athleticism and length, they will certainly pose problems in transition and on defense. As long as they “play their game” as Barnes alluded to, the Warriors should still get quality production from the wing position.

Even without Klay, the Warriors have one of the most complete starting unit in the NBA.  Draymond Green is still a star, and 2020 second overall pick James Wiseman has the potential to be the game's next great center. Don't be surprised if Golden State not only get into the playoffs, but also win a playoff series.

Hopefully, Klay Thompson can come back soon so fans can see how much gas the Warriors still have left in the tank.
