For the first time in his career, the Golden State Warriors' Klay Thompson is sporting a beard. His teammates gave some subtle ribbings, others, however, liked the new look.

As reported by Eric Ting of sfgate.com, DeMarcus Cousins, Draymond Green, and Jordan Bell were not really feeling Thompson's beard. Cousins admitted that he didn't like the look:

“I'm not really feeling it,” a stone-faced Cousins said. “But you know, to each its own.”

Green, meanwhile, admitted that he asked Thompson if he was getting rid of the beard:

“I asked him today when he was cutting it,” Green chuckled.

Bell, for his part, was brutally honest:

“It covers his ugly face more,” Bell said.

His Splash Brother Stephen Curry was more supportive of the beard.

“I'm with it for sure,” Curry said. “I love Klay's new look.”

Like it or not, one has to commend Thompson for trying out a new look. NBA players usually experiment with brand new hairstyles, in-game gear, or whatnot. Perhaps it is their way of expressing themselves or adding a bit of flavor to their look every game. It can be pretty tiring to see the players looking exactly the same every game. Some may not approve of Thompson's facial hair but sooner or later, we'll all get used to it.
