Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson knows very well that for the Golden State Warriors to win Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, Klay Thompson will be key.

Thompson has struggled in the first two games of the series so far, scoring just a combined 26 points on 30.3 percent shooting from the field–including 26.7 percent from deep. Simply put, the Warriors sharpshooter has not been himself in the NBA Finals, and that must change to give Golden State a good chance to bring home their fourth NBA title in eight years.

Johnson also shared his belief that getting Andrew Wiggins to be more involved offensively will help the Dubs in their showdown with Boston.

“Klay Thompson did not shoot well at home. If the Warriors are to win in Boston, he must shoot better and the Warriors must figure out how to get Wiggins on track offensively,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

For what it's worth, while Klay Thompson has been having a hard time, he remains confident that he can break out of his slump. In fact, he has a strategy to make sure he's going to have a big game soon: watch “Game 6 Klay” highlights on YouTube.

with the Celtics' defense focusing on Stephen Curry, the Warriors really need to get Thompson going as soon as possible. Hopefully, that happens Wednesday night.
