Thursday night, the Golden State Warriors took a commanding 3-0 lead over the Denver Nuggets. Game 3 was the toughest win for the Warriors to get in this series. They even trailed for the first time in the fourth quarter, but in the end, The Dubs' will to win was too much for the Nuggets to overcome.

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Jordan Poole all scored over 20 points in the game, but what Thompson was the happiest about was the way the Warriors closed the game.

“It felt amazing,” Warriors star Klay Thompson told ClutchPoints. “Me, Jordan, Steph down the stretch huge shots, Andrew [Wiggins] huge shot, Draymond [Green] huge stop, just a collective team effort tonight, our bench did an incredible job as well. Just overall a great effort and a win that feels really good.”

The trio of Thompson, Curry, and Poole finished the game with 80 points between them. Offensively they have been unstoppable. Draymond Green has been able to do all the things he does best, and it looks like no matter what the Nuggets try, they can't beat this Warriors team.

Wiggins made a corner three-pointer to give the Warriors the lead with about 3 minutes left in the game. It was the biggest shot of the night. Green had 10 assists in the game. He also came up with a big stop while guarding Nikola Jokic 1-on-1 to secure the victory.

The playoffs officially started for the Warriors in Game 3. They had some adversity for the first time, and they overcame it. The Warriors are looking to sweep the Nuggets, but the their toughest days are ahead of them. Once they close out this series, they will begin preparing for what's next.
