The Golden State Warriors are one game away from making it to the Western Conference Finals. They are heavy favorites to advance to the next round, but the Memphis Grizzlies don't care and have other plans. Without Ja Morant in the lineup, the Grizzlies took down the Dubs. The final score was 134-95, and at one point, the lead was as much as 55 points.

After the game, Klay Thompson shared how he felt about losing so big in Game 5.

“It was awful,” the Warriors star told ClutchPoints. “It was embarrassing…But sometimes basketball isn't an exact science, and we played like a shell of ourselves. So like I said before, we'll watch film, and make the necessary adjustments, and you'll see a totally different effort on Friday.”

The Grizzlies came out hot, and the Warriors couldn't respond. The main reason was turnovers. The Warriors gave away a ton of possessions early in the game, which put the game out of reach expeditiously.

The Warriors came into this game with the mindset of ending this series. After witnessing this blowout, it's safe to say the Warriors underestimated their opponent. They quickly learned this Grizzlies team is exceptional even without Ja Morant.

Since Plan A, ending the series in five games didn't work, Plan B, advancing in six games will have to do. The Warriors have to put this embarrassing night behind them and try to correct their wrongs in the next battle.

Having a home-court advantage will help, but it won't be enough to eliminate a talented team with their backs against the wall. They have to go out and take this next game, or there will be a Game 7 in Memphis.
