Marquese Chriss is going into his second season with the Golden State Warriors, who added another former Phoenix Suns player. With Kelly Oubre Jr. joining the Warriors, Chriss took a shot at the Suns, per Locked On's Wes Goldberg.

Chriss began his career with the Suns as the No. 8 overall pick by the Sacramento Kings, who traded his rights to Phoenix. He would spend his first two seasons with the Suns, averaging 8.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in those two seasons.

After a two-year stint with Phoenix, Chriss would play with the Houston Rockets and the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2018-19 season. But last season, he may have found a long-term place to call home with the Warriors, playing in 59 games with Golden State.

When Chriss joined the Warriors a season ago, Draymond Green was very critical of how Phoenix's organization was run. Green called out the Suns for their lack of player development, saying that they were to blame for Chriss' early struggles in his career.

Fast forward to now and the Warriors are bringing in another member of the Suns in Oubre. Last month, with Klay Thompson going down with a season-ending Achilles injury, Golden State completed a trade to acquire Oubre.

When Oubre was traded to Golden State, he uttered that he felt that the Warriors were the best fit for him, taking a slight shot at the Suns. It seems like Chriss shares the same sentiment as Oubre, with both of them getting a chance to carve out roles in the Bay Area.
