In their Game 1 win, Nick Young provided quality minutes for the Golden State Warriors. In just 15 minutes of playing time, Young chipped in nine points by nailing three 3-pointers out five attempts. After the game, Young admitted that he dreamed about head coach Steve Kerr.

As reported by David Aldridge, Young shared that he saw Kerr in his dream and even asked:

“In the dream, I said, ‘Steve, is that you?’”

Knowing Swaggy-P, it's difficult to tell whether he's telling the truth or not. We all know his playful antics. Yet be as it may, Young's mini-boost from the bench contributed to the win.

In his first season with the Warriors, Young has been entrusted to provide that spark from the bench. In 80 games in the regular season, he logged in 7.3 points per game, nailing 1.5 long distance shots out of 4.1 attempts.

Prior to getting him, Kerr shared that Young's 3-point shooting ability will fit well with the Warriors' system. As reported by Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated:

“He has the potential to fit in beautifully with us, and we have the idea of winning a championship to offer to him,” Kerr said. “He’s been a really good player in his career, but he’s played on a lot of bad teams, frankly, so I think the appeal to Nick was to come play with this group of players. He’s a great fit.

“He’s one of the best spot-up shooters in the league. He can also create his own shot. We’re really excited to have him, and I think he’s going to be in a great spot.”
