Sports Illustrated has ranked Golden State Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry as the fourth-best player for the upcoming NBA season.

Curry, now 31 years of age, has established himself as one of the greatest marksman the league has ever known. The three-time champion serves as a catalyst for his team. Everyone knows that his range is legendary, but it's his court awareness that truly sets him apart. The folks at Sports Illustrated reflected these facts in their predictions.

Everything about Stephen Curry is suited for collaboration. The mere thought of his shooting—and its effect on a defense—allows him to dominate a game without dominating the ball. All the better for a co–star to get their touches, and to have the most efficient seasons of their career.

Curry made 69 appearances with the Warriors last season, racking up averages of 27.3 points on 47.2 percent shooting from the field (43.7 percent from beyond the arc), 5.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.3 steals in 33.8 minutes per outing.

The Warriors finished the 2018-19 regular season campaign with an impressive 57-25 overall record, earning a No. 1 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Unfortunately, though, Golden State was defeated by the Toronto Raptors in the Finals, 4-2.

Hopefully, with an offseason to prepare, Curry and the Warriors will make another run at the postseason.
