Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is in his fair share of commercials, but none might be as funny as his new Subway collaboration with tennis legend Rafael Nadal.

The pair teamed up to promote Subway's new line of sandwiches with fresh slices of meat which notably includes a Grand Slam Ham edition. And it was Nadal who stole the show with his line in English.

“I just a love a Grand Slam…ham!” Nadal said.

That was followed with Curry saying, “I just knew he'd love that sandwich.”

In another new Subway commercial, Curry also asked the Spaniard if the new Subway slices were as good as his tennis slices to which Nadal responded:

“I can't answer that…but yes,” Nadal replied while smiling.

That said, it was the first Subway commercial that really got Twitter losing it, especially with the emphasis Nadal put on saying ham in what looks to be said from a second take.

Nadal is currently recovering from a hip surgery that saw him miss out on the French Open as well as the recently-concluded grass-court season.

Although he could be fully recovered before the end of the year, the 22-time Grand Slam champion is expected to make his comeback early next year in time for the Australian Open. It will notably be the last season of his illustrious tennis career.

Curry, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of the Warriors' Western Conference semifinal exit to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this summer.

The Golden State star is seeking a fifth title in his last nine years in the upcoming 2023/24 season.
