It sure looks like Stephen Curry is excited to return to action for the Golden State Warriors.

After reports surface that he will be making his return on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors, Curry quickly took it to social media to share his reaction and confirm that he is indeed returning. The 31-year-old Warriors sharpshooter posted a clip of the 1996 blockbuster movie “Independence Day” (with his face stamped on it) where the classic quote “Hello Boys, I'm back” can be heard.

Steph captioned the post “About time.”

Stephen Curry has been out for more than four months after injuring his left hand against the Phoenix Suns last October, in just the Warriors' fourth game of the season. He underwent surgery and had to undergo rehab before he can make his return

The two-time NBA MVP was initially expected to return to action last Sunday, March 1, against the Washington Wizards. However, he was deemed not ready to play heading into the game, with Steve Kerr emphasizing Steph needs more practice time before he can suit up for the Dubs.

Interestingly, Curry's return coincides with the Warriors' match-up against the Raptors — the same team they faced in the 2019 NBA Finals. While Steph is expected to be rusty, the timing of his return certainly makes for a great storyline,
