If it isn't obvious by now, Stephen Curry couldn't get any more excited about Klay Thompson's first game with the Golden State Warriors after more than two seasons.

Thompson is making his return on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers after two season-ending injuries, and hours before the game, Curry made sure to remind everyone what day it is. It is “Klay Day”!

On Twitter, the Warriors guard even posted a video to hype up Thompson's season debut this 2021-22.

Its hard to blame Stephen Curry for being this excited. He is certainly the one who misses playing with Klay Thompson the most, having shared the backcourt for years and winning the championship together. There is a reason they are called the “Splash Bros.”

Sure enough, the hype for Klay's return didn't stop there. When Steph, Draymond Green and the rest of the Warriors arrived at Chase Center prior to tip-off, they were all wearing his No. 11 jersey.

Klay's journey to being healthy again and getting back to the NBA hardwood is no easy feat, and the Warriors saw it firsthand how he worked hard to be able to play again with the team. When he was watching the team on the sidelines last season and earlier this campaign, his frustrations were clear–showing how much he wanted to play if he could.

Now that he's back, the Warriors couldn't be any happier and hyped to see him shooting buckets again.
