Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry admitted after Game 3 of the 2022 NBA Finals his injury feels similar to the foot sprain he suffered against the Boston Celtics late in the 2021-22 season. However, he doesn't seem to be to concerned about it.
Curry gave Warriors fans an injury scare late in the fourth quarter of Game 3 against the Celtics. While scrambling for a loose ball, Al Horford fell on Curry's left foot. The Dubs sharpshooter was in pain after the play and had a noticeable limp.
The 34-year-old guard was able to finish the game, but there have been concerns about his condition moving forward. Steve Kerr refused to give a direct answer to his status, but Curry himself revealed to the media how he's feeling.
According to Curry, he doesn't expect to miss time despite the injury feeling similar to his foot sprain from before:

“Same thing that happened in March against Boston, but not as bad.”
For what it's worth, Stephen Curry missed the last part of the season — which was 12 straight games — due to the injury he suffered against the Celtics after Marcus Smart dove on his foot.
Fortunately, as Curry said, it's not as severe as the previous one. There is also a little over a day between Games 3 and 4, so hopefully the time will be enough for the Warriors star to recover and lessen the pain.
