The Golden State Warriors are the reigning NBA champions. As such, they get the benefit of the doubt heading into the postseason. Barring any injuries, the Warriors are the team to beat, obviously. Every team has lined up to take their best shot at the Warriors, and it's fair to say that the defending NBA champions will have a fight on their hands entering the postseason.

Nonetheless, with a fleet of two former MVPs, one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, and the reigning defensive player of the year, the Warriors can score with anyone and play phenomenal defense to get crucial shots down the stretch. Mind you, the Warriors are a dominant team that is looking to repeat as champions, regardless if the Rockets and Thunder have to say otherwise.

Still, it appears that the Warriors' franchise player Stephen Curry is taking a down to Earth approach when thinking about the postseason. When asked about a potential playoff match-up, Curry mentioned that he is currently envisioning a showdown with the Clippers.

Curry notoriously is not a fan of the Clippers, which is evidenced by his recent phenomenal performances against them. The Warriors should have no trouble with the Clippersnin a potential playoff series. The Clippers are an aggregation of young talent, and can stall the Warriors in a few games, but beating the Warriors would be far out of their reality. Though, stranger things have happened in the NBA. In any case, it should really be an interesting match-up between the two teams.
