Golden State Warriors forward Juan Toscano-Anderson knows that if the NBA was a huge boxing match, then his team would be fine given that they have one heck of a haymaker in their two-time MVP Stephen Curry.

Curry let the punches rain on Monday and led the Warriors to a huge 123-108 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. The seven-time All-Star finished with 41 points on 8-of-18 shooting from downtown, which had his teammate comparing him to one of the best boxers in the history of the sport.

“I know how to fight, but if I got Mike Tyson on my side, I have all the confidence in the world because I know Mike Tyson is knocking anybody out with a haymaker. So I got Steph Curry on my basketball team and I feel good.” JTA said, via Wes Goldberg of Mercury News.

Juan Toscano-Anderson was no lightweight himself against the Pelicans. The 28-year-old added his own 14 points and made two triples to help the Warriors secure an important road win.

But, just like in any Mike Tyson card, all eyes were on the champ as Stephen Curry dazzled his way to another 40-point performance. The 33-year-old continues his incredible scoring run and his 41-point explosion in NOLA cements his spot at the top of this season's scoring list with a whopping 31.3 points per game.

The win helps the Warriors sneak their way closer and closer to the Memphis Grizzlies, who are just half-a-game away at the eighth spot. JTA is hoping that Curry doesn't pull on the punches and keep throwing haymakers as they inch their way back the playoffs this season.
