Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry fittingly became the all-time leading scorer in franchise history, surpassing the great Wilt Chamberlain.

Following Golden State's 116-107 win over the Denver Nuggets, where Curry achieved the historic milestone, Warriors legend Chris Mullin gave an epic speech dedicated to the Warriors superstar. Mullin's heartfelt message left the 2-time NBA MVP at a loss for words.

Listen to Mullin and Curry's sincere exchange, via Anthony Slater of The Athletic:

It's great to see legends like Mullin give their respect to a legend-in-the-making like Curry. It's clear from the Hall-of-Famer's words just how much he appreciates what Curry has done, not just for the Warriors organization, but for the entire game of basketball.

A lot of what Mullin said is spot on. Curry has changed the game with his elite marksmanship from beyond the arc. Furthermore, he has always done it the right way, with the way he carries himself on and off the court, and serves as an excellent role model for those who look up to him.

The 3-time NBA champion now has a total of 17,818 career points all with Golden State. As for Mullin, he finished his career in the top 5 in the Warriors' scoring history books, with a total of 16,235 points through 13 seasons with the Dubs.

Curry needed just 19 points to surpass Chamberlain's 17,783 points on Monday. Nevertheless, the 7-time All-Star still dropped an insane 53 points against the Nuggets for good measure to lead the Dubs to a much-needed victory. It was certainly an epic performance for a historic night for Stephen Curry.
