Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry made franchise history by surpassing the great Wilt Chamberlain in the team's all-time scoring list. Draymond Green congratulated Curry by giving the sharpshooter one big hug and a few words.

Check the sweet moment below between the long-time teammates. Perhaps everyone knew that one day, Curry will be crowned as the Warriors' all-time leading scorer. Green himself has never doubted Curry, but he does not take the two-time MVP for granted either.

Stephen Curry entered the game just 19 points short of surpassing Chamberlain's previous record of 17,783. Curry made short work by dropping 21 points in the first quarter alone. The Warriors sharpshooter was subsequently congratulated by his teammates and the Warriors coaching staff as he made his way to the bench.

Warriors fans know that Curry has amassed tons of franchise records in his 12-year stint with the team. Almost all 3-point and various scoring records belong to the two-time MVP, but he himself claims that the all-time record—especially since it involves basketball juggernaut Wilt Chamberlain—is a “pretty significant milestone.”

It's one heck of an achievement, and what's better is that Curry has a ton of games left to play and a whole lot more to score.
