Stephen Curry's fanaticism for the Carolina Panthers is no secret. The Warriors star grew up in the Charlotte area after being born in Akron, Ohio while his father was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. When his father, Dell, was selected by the Charlotte Hornets and the family moved to North Carolina. He still roots just as hard for the Panthers as he did when he was a kid.

Even though it's only preseason, Curry still gets hyped when his Panthers are playing well. Running back Christian McCaffrey broke free for a long touchdown run and Curry took to Twitter to express his happiness.

Of course, preseason games are more or less meaningless, but this run from McCaffrey shows his speed and athleticism. As soon as he bursts through the line, he's gone and not looking back.

While Stephen Curry has won three of the last four championships in the NBA, his favorite football team has still never won the Super Bowl. The Panthers came close twice. They fell to the Patriots in the Super Bowl in 2003 and the Broncos in 2015.

Christian McCaffrey and Cam Newton hope to bring Carolina its first Super Bowl sometime soon. They could learn a thing or two from Steph Curry and the Warriors.

The Panthers still have two more preseason games to play before the real thing starts. But McCaffrey and the Panthers open up the season at home against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 9. Perhaps Curry will finally get to see his team hoist the Lombardi Trophy this year.
