Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was one of the millions who tuned in to watch the epic World Series matchup between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Boston Red Sox on Friday. The former back-to-back MVP was not very happy about the result, and took to Instagram to share his sentiments.

The record-setting game went to 18 innings before the Dodgers finally scored a home run to secure their first victory of the Fall Classic, making the series 2-1 in favor of the Red Sox. The match extended to the wee hours of the morning, but Curry was intent to see the game through.

Being himself a Red Sox fan, the Warriors talent was willing to lose a few hours sleep just to see his team win. However, he was not a happy camper once the game — which lasted for over seven hours — ended with a loss for his Red Sox.

Nevertheless, Curry is still confident that the Red Sox will win the next two games to close out the best-of-seven series. The 30-year-old is adamant that his team will lift the Commissioner's Trophy after five games.

As it turns out, Curry even influenced teammate Jonas Jerebko — who apparently is not a fan of the sport — to catch some of the late night/early morning action.

It's a good thing the Warriors have a night off before they take the court again when they travel to Brooklyn to take on the Nets on Sunday. Curry should get more than enough rest as he hopes to build on his amazing start to the new campaign.
