Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry hears all the noise. Now that small forward Kevin Durant is gone and shooting guard Klay Thompson is expected to miss the majority of next season due to an ACL tear, the Warriors are no longer considered a title contender by many experts.

Curry says he and his teammates don't need extra motivation and are actually looking forward to being hunters next season instead of being the hunted. For the first time in quite some time, Curry and the Warriors are being doubted and the sharpshooter loves to hear all the naysayers saying the Dubs are “done.”

“Oh the (Golden State) Warriors are done narrative, that’s all I hear, and I love that,” Curry said in his latest Facebook Watch episode. “At one point, they said we would never win a championship and you heard that plenty of times. We don’t need any extra motivation, I don’t either. This year you can almost say we were playing with house money because we won championships and we were the hunted but now we get to go back to hunting.”

Stephen Curry is a two-time MVP, three-time champion and the greatest shooter in NBA history. He's already a first-ballot Hall of Famer. The Warriors star doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. The fact that some people believe Curry is under pressure next season is mind-boggling. They must have forgotten how special of a résumé Curry already has.

A case can be made Curry is going to play more freely next season since no one has pegged the Warriors as a title contender. That might be a sight no one in the league wants to see.

Curry playing loose and with no pressure could be a scary sight for NBA teams next season. A lot of people believe Steph might lead the NBA in scoring next year and capture his third MVP award. It's going to be a lot of fun to follow Curry and the Warriors next season, that's for sure. We could see the return of 2015-16 Curry, when he averaged 30.1 points and won the MVP award in unanimous fashion.
