On the surface, the relationship between Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and younger brother Seth Curry of the Sixers appears to be one that most siblings can only dream about. After all, they are both playing in the best basketball league in the world.

As it turns out, however, Steph and Seth were just like any other pair of siblings growing up. They too had their fair share of fights as kids. On a recent appearance on The Rex Chapman Show with Josh Hopkins, the Warriors star took a quick stroll down memory lane to relive the multitude of backyard fights he had with Seth growing up:

“Oh, at least 15,” Steph responded when asked how many legit fights he had with his young brother, via Jordan Cohn of Audacity Sports. “Seth had this thing where we'd play one-on-one, and obviously I'm the big brother, I'm supposed to win. He'd get me every once in a while.

“But he had this thing where he called a foul and I'm like, ‘no, that's not a foul, I literally didn't touch you,' and I wouldn't give him the foul. He'd literally take the ball and just walk off the court, but he knew all I wanted to do was play, and he knew I wasn't gonna just let him walk off, so he'd play that card every single time.”

That sounds about right. It goes without saying that both Stephen Curry and brother Seth had (and still have) an intense competitive spirit within them. It isn't surprising that at times, this tends to boil over, which resulted in the occasional fistfight.

It was all out of love though, and right now, Steph and Seth have a good thing going on between them. Probably just don't ask the other who the better player is between them.
