Stephen Curry has made it clear: the Golden State Warriors are not stopping with just a play-in berth. They want to win, and they want to keep winning in the playoffs.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday–a day before taking on the Los Angeles Lakers in the play-in tournament–Curry reflected on the preseason predictions that wrote them off from title and playoff contention after Klay Thompson's devastating injury. The Warriors responded in a big way with their recent surge, but Curry is not satisfied with just that.

“Nobody thought we were even going to be in this position. A lot of people had us way, way, way down the standings coming in after Klay got hurt so there's a lot of things that we already flipped on its head to this point, so we might as well keep going,” Curry shared, per Nick Friedell of ESPN.

Well, that is certainly good news for Warriors fans, and not so much for the Purple and Gold faithful. After all, the last thing they want the Lakers to face is a motivated Stephen Curry with a lot to prove to all their doubters.

Also, there's no better way for Curry and the Dubs to send a message by taking down the defending champions, right?

Steph is in an absolute tear in the last two months, averaging 37.1 points on 49.3 percent shooting in 23 games during that span. That hot streak even secured him his second career scoring title. Oh, and did we mention the Warriors went 15-8 in the same stretch?

Curry is certainly feeling dangerous, but the Lakers can't do anything but prepare for it.
