There was some speculation that Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry wouldn't play in Monday night's game against the Indiana Pacers because it's the front end of a back-to-back ahead of a Tuesday night showdown against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Curry will play against the Pacers, but will he play in both games this weekend when the Warriors finish up their road trip with Friday's game against the Boston Celtics and Saturday's game against the Toronto Raptors?

Curry gave a rather cheeky response when asked that question ahead of Monday's tilt in Indiana:

Curry would love to play in every game he can as long as he's healthy, but the Warriors may want to strategically rest him throughout this season in order to keep him fresh for a championship run. While that's not happening for this upcoming back-to-back (no chance is he missing a game at MSG), we'll see what the team decides for the games this weekend.

The Warriors star is currently on the verge of breaking Ray Allen's record for most 3-pointers made. Curry is in a little bit of a slump, but there's always a possibility he breaks out of it on Monday and passes Allen by knocking down at least seven 3-balls.

Of course, passing Allen at Madison Square Garden would be more special, which is another reason why some thought Curry would rest Monday and then play on Tuesday to gun for that record. But since he's playing against the Pacers, the Warriors point guard will surely do everything he can to hit seven triples.
