Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is not only going for basketball greatness.

No, that wouldn't be enough for Curry.

The point guard wants to revolutionize the sneaker industry, not only with his signature shoes from Under Armour, but also in terms of how the company grew exponentially and continues to do so. Curry talked to Jarrel Harris of Sports Illustrated about everything involving his shoe endeavors, and responded in this way when asked what he wanted people to remember about his signature line:

“That I shocked the shoe game,” Curry said. “For one, I think the business that we created with the SC brand and Under Armour—and it is almost unprecedented—from starting with nothing and growing it to what it is now and hopefully what it becomes in the next five to 10 years.”

Curry is basically the poster child for Under Armour. He's their most popular signature athlete, and is always trying to tout the brand as much as possible.

His signature line of shoes have gotten mixed results, however. During the playoffs last season, he released a version that was lambasted by sneakerheads everywhere.

But while Curry still has this kind of visibility as one of the best basketball players in the world, he should take every opportunity to promote his brand and continue with his attempt to make his mark on the sneaker industry.
