The Golden State Warriors were the favorites to repeat for another NBA title even before DeMarcus Cousins signed on board. With Cousins on board, there were some fans who said the NBA season doesn't even need to be played because everyone already knows who is going to win.

Others however wondered how exactly the chemistry would do with Cousins coming on board. During times in his career Cousins has looked like a difficult teammate, and hasn't always gotten along with his coaches or other teammates.

Warriors Guard Stephen Curry told Sam Amick of USA Today Sports that he isn't worried about Cousins fitting in, and he knows that he is going to be extra motivated.

“Knowing what he’s been through, with his Achilles (tear in February) and the recovery and the opportunity he has to come back and prove a lot of people wrong, I like that. I like a motivated and driven DeMarcus coming back from this injury and helping us win another championship, so it’s going to be crazy and exciting. I don’t really know how it’ll play out Xs and Os wise, but we have a lot of talented guys who know how to sacrifice, who know how to play the game at a high level, who have high IQs. He’ll transition just fine. At the end of the day, we’re about winning, so I don’t think anything will get in the way of that from a distraction standpoint.”

When Cousins will be able to step back onto the court is still up in the air, and there is a chance it might not be until right before the playoffs but when he does come back expect it to be a smooth transition.
