Despite undergoing some personal matters with his family, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is still keeping up to date on the latest pop culture trends.

Curry took to Twitter to congratulate Drake on the much-anticipated release of his new album, “Certified Lover Boy.” There's a cruel joke somewhere there regarding the two-time MVP's dad, Dell Curry.

Curry has had a close relationship with Drake through the years. The video of the multi-awarded rapper pulling out a lint off Curry's hair should be in the Library of Congress. They had their competitive banter as well when the Warriors faced the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA Finals.

33-year-old Stephen Curry has always been one of the more musically inclined players in the NBA. It has been shared that aside from Drake, he listens to the likes of Khalid, Lupe Fiasco, and the late Nipsey Hussle, just to name a few. During his 30th birthday, he had Paramore and E-40 perform live.

Oh, and he also loves listening to Disney songs with his daughter Riley.

Drake's latest work could help Curry get through tough times these days as his parents are going through an ugly divorce. According to swirling rumors, Curry got angry with his dad after publicly accusing his wife, Sonya Curry, of cheating with a former NFL player.

But Stephen Curry is one of the most optimistic athletes out there, and he will surely channel his energy on leading the Warriors back into the NBA Playoffs — with Drake's “Certified Lover Boy” probably blasting in their locker room.
