During the Golden State Warriors win over the Houston Rockets on Christmas, Eric Paschall suffered another hip contusion. The severity of the injury was downplayed by Warriors head coach Steve Kerr after the game. In fact, Kerr stated that Paschall is not expected to miss significant time, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN.

Paschall was held scoreless along with three rebounds and two assists in that time. It has been a rough couple of weeks for him. He was sidelined for a few games as a result of a knee injury and underwhelmed in the three games that he has played since returning to the lineup.

Part of the problem for Paschall has been the ongoing struggle with injuries. He needed to undergo an MRI on Sunday before the Warriors' matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves and while the results came back clean, he was still ruled questionable for the matchup.

Through 29 games this season, Paschall has averaged 14.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. It's been a very impressive rookie campaign for him, in general, but especially when considering how he was the 41st overall pick in the draft.

The Warriors will need Paschall healthy at some point to help bolster their scoring capabilities with key players like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson sidelined. Paschall has accounted for 11.4% of the team's offensive possessions so far this season, which is fewer than only D'Angelo Russell (13.1%) and Alex Burks (12.4%).

Golden State's win over the Rockets was intriguing to see, but they will need to achieve winning on a more consistent basis.
