The Golden State Warriors are lording over the rest of the NBA right now. Head coach Steve Kerr knows all the work that Stephen Curry and the gang has parlayed into success early on, and now has freedom to bask in it.

The longtime Warriors coach admitted that he still keeps tabs on every slight hurled against his team. Kerr took note of every pessimistic preseason prediction against Golden State and makes sure to let the writers and media members know they got it all wrong.

“I'm like Arya from Game of Thrones,” said the Warriors coach. “Like, I have all the names of of the media members who picked us to be outside the playoffs, and I'm just checking off the box. Every time I see one of those guys, I give them a little glare and they know what that means.”

It's still extremely early in the season, but the Warriors certainly have the look and the record of a true championship contender. Their latest win, a 26-point beatdown of the previously top-seeded Chicago Bulls, was a stern reminder that their league-best standing is no fluke.

While some may point to Golden State's relatively easy early-season schedule, they're also still expecting Klay Thompson to return before the year ends. For as good as they've already been, they haven't even reached their final form just yet. When they start running at their peak, Steve Kerr's telling glares at media members will truly look insufferable.
