The Golden State Warriors are about to be very depleted when they face the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. Steph Curry, Otto Porter Jr, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala have all been ruled out due to various injuries.

Dubs head coach Steve Kerr gave an update on all four players but aid that Iggy is the only one who he doesn't expect to be back for Sunday. Via Anthony Slater:

“He had some swelling in his knee yesterday, he said it's better today, but just given where he's at in his career age-wise, he'll be day to day at this point.”

Iguodala also sat out on Thursday night as the Warriors rolled over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The veteran has played 20.8 minutes per night off the bench this season for Golden State, averaging 3.8 points and 3.5 rebounds. He's served more as a mentor to the young players and a defensive cog.

After all, Iggy is 37-years-old. While it's just a little bit of knee swelling which doesn't sound too serious, you never know how long it can keep him out considering his age. Nevertheless, he'll still be an important piece to the Warriors for the time being on the bench because of his experience and leadership.

The Dubs are currently the best team in the Association at 13-2 and it will be interesting to see if they can pull out another victory without Steph and Draymond.
