The Golden State Warriors want to move on from their forgettable 2019-20 season. With that said, the Dubs are now looking forward to improving their roster, either through the upcoming NBA Draft or the free agency.

For what it's worth, the Warriors seem to have an idea of who they will target, with head coach Steve Kerr recently hinting in Tim Kawakami's podcast they need size and athleticism.

The outspoken tactician also admitted that their roster needs more tinkering, via Drew Shiller of NBC Sports.

Many experts feel that the Warriors will take LaMelo Ball at no. 2 in the NBA Draft. He, however, won't exactly fill the void in terms of size. Also being tagged as projected top five picks are big men James Wiseman, Obi Toppin and Deni Avdija.

The Warriors also own the 48th and 51st picks in the second round.

Rumors, meanwhile, have circulated that the Dubs are targeting guys like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner in free agency.

Kevon Looney is Golden States only legitimate center, with guys like Draymond Green, Marquese Chriss and Alen Smailagic being more suited to play at the power forward spot.

Golden State had the worst record in 2019-20, winning only 15 games. The team was hit hard by the injury bug and had to rely on young guys. It was a huge drop for the Dubs, considering they were coming off five straight NBA Finals appearances.

The Warriors have a history of making good choices in the NBA Draft like Green, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Last season, they plucked Jordan Poole and Eric Paschall with the 28th and 41st overall picks, respectively. They proved to be solid contributors in their rookie year, with Paschall even being named to the All-NBA Rookie Team.
