It appears that Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has yet to fully adjust to life in his team's brand new arena, the Chase Center.

For starters, the three-time NBA champion coach admitted that he found it quite difficult to get to the stadium coming from his home in San Francisco:

“I got Waze going on my phone and I have no idea where I’m going,” said Kerr, via Mark Medina of USA Today.

Chase Center, the new state-of-the-art facility which will host Golden State's home games beginning this season, is located in the Mission Bay area of San Francisco. That's nearly 20 miles away from the Warriors' old stomping ground of Oracle Arena in Oakland, so it will indeed require some getting used to.

Kerr went on to say that he had an unusual feeling in his gut when his team played their first home game in their new stadium. In particular, the new press conference room felt a bit odd for the veteran coach:

“The first night here felt strange,” he added.

Things did not start off as expected for the Dubs, as they lost their first home preseason game in the Chase Center on Saturday night. Coach Kerr and his men were handily defeated by the visiting Los Angeles Lakers, 123-101.

Much like their revamped lineup, the Warriors will also need to get accustomed to their new home floor as they look toward what should be a challenging season ahead.
