Don't expect to see the Golden State Warriors starters play together in their final two games of the regular season.

According to head coach Steve Kerr, he is planning to rest his top eight players in their upcoming back-to-back road matches to close out the season.

As the 53 year-old tactician explained following their win over the Los Angeles Clippers, the plan is to sit four players on Tuesday's game with the New Orleans Pelicans and another four players on Wednesday's showdown with the Memphis Grizzlies.

While Steve Kerr has no player in mind yet on who will sit out their remaining games, it is widely expected that their starting unit of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins are expected to get some rest.

Veteran players Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston and Andrew Bogut could also find themselves back on the sidelines given their age and injury history.

The Dubs have already secured the top spot in the tough Western Conference with a 56-24 record, so it's a no-brainer why Kerr would choose to rest his key players and avoid any major injuries before the playoffs. After all, they have nothing left to fight for in the regular season.
