Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for the Golden State Warriors right now — it just did.

After losing three of its first four games of the year in lopsided fashion, the depleted San Francisco-based squad faces another dilemma in their hands, as superstar Stephen Curry will miss three months after undergoing surgery on a broken left hand.

The multi-titled Warriors team, who has been the epitome of dominance over the past few seasons, will now have to fight tooth and nail just to stay competitive in the scarily stacked Western Conference.

Head coach Steve Kerr recently addressed the rumblings surrounding his team and shared how they plan to address the situation moving forward.

The team’s string of bad luck in their last six games dates back from last year’s NBA Finals, where they lost superstars Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson to devastating injuries. The Dubs also suffered from blow out losses to teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns to begin their campaign.

With Curry out for the foreseeable future, only Draymond Green remains as the lone remnant from the Warriors’ championship run, as Kevon Looney is also dealing with a neuropathic condition on his bothersome hamstring.

The Warriors did acquire budding star D’Angelo Russell in the offseason, but the jury is still out on whether he can replicate the same performance he had for the Brooklyn Nets in the past couple of seasons.

Prior to the injury, Curry was averaging 20.3 points, 5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists on 40.9 percent shooting from the field.
