Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is a worldwide superstar. Little kids dream of being able to shoot like him and even his colleagues hope to one day get the chance to be his teammate. New Warrior Willie Cauley-Stein was one of those players who dreamed of the day he could play with Steph.

The dream began when he was drafted, and now it has come true:

The big man gave further explanation on why he looked forward to being Curry's teammate and what it meant to him to be able to finally don a Warriors jersey

Cauley-Stein is certainly right about the new amounts of spacing he will receive. In Sacramento, he played with some pretty good shooters in Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic. No disrespect to these guys, but Curry will open up some room to operate that Cauley-Stein has never seen before in his life.

Before moving a little bit south to the Bay Area, Cauley-Stein spent four seasons with the Sacramento Kings. Over that time, he produced averages of 10.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. He has always been one of the biggest lob threats in the league, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him receive plenty of alley-oops from Curry and new guard D'Angelo Russell.
