A Golden State Warriors source has claimed the series of nude photographs that appear to be of point guard Stephen Curry are actually not him, according to Connor Letourneau of The San Francisco Chronicle. Instead, it's a hoax. The Warriors don't plan to comment publicly on the matter.
“Of course it's not him,” a source, who chose to remain anonymous said.
Curry’s agent also told the Daily Mail that the photos are “absolutely” not of the two-time MVP.
Most people on Twitter were quick to notice Curry's name trending atop the daily list, shocked to see a series of private photos of him were leaked on Twitter. The photos quickly spread like wildfire before the initial post was taken down by the site for violating rules, but to no avail, still being the No. 1 trending topic in social media.
Curry's wife, Ayesha admitted earlier this year to sending “hundreds” of nude photographs to her husband when he's on the road to “spice up” their marriage, something that doesn't rule out the prospect of it being Curry to those on social media.

He pled guilty to a violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, which resulted in a felony. If this is indeed Curry, the violation of his privacy would also fall under California’s revenge porn law, as Nate Scott of USA TODAY explained earlier Friday. The law has been in effect for six years but was first used in 2014.
The misdemeanor is punishable with up to six months of a jail sentence and a fine up to $1,000.
