Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson has joined forces with Alex Morgan, Travis Pastrana and Paul Rodriguez in launching a CBD brand called “Just Live,” according to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

Thompson, Morgan, Pastrana and Rodriguez are hoping to provide sports and fitness fans with a natural alternative to painkillers for recovery. The Warriors star talked a bit about the venture:

“After being injured and with what I want to do with the rest of my career and how I want to prepare myself off the court, you want to take more organic and natural ways of healing instead of in the past, whether it was opioids or some kind of prescribed medicines prepared for me,” Warriors star Klay Thompson told The Undefeated.

“It’s organic. It’s a natural way with CBD. I think in a way that is the future.”

Thompson missed the entire 2019-20 season for the Warriors recovering from the ACL tear he suffered in Game 6 of the 2019 Finals against the Toronto Raptors. The All-Star sharpshooter says CBD is helping him get more sleep, as Thompson claims he's sleeping eight hours now.

The Warriors finished the 2019-20 season with the worst record in the NBA before games were suspended in March due to COVID-19. The Dubs, though, should be back in the title picture next season with Stephen Curry and Thompson leading the way. Klay took part in the Dubs' recent minicamp and looked good.

Since getting drafted by the Warriors in 2011, Thompson has compiled averages of 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He's a three-time champion and arguably the second-greatest shooter in the game right now behind Curry.
