With the announcement of the first week and Christmas day schedules of the NBA for next season, fans were given a chance to mark their calendars for some marquee matchups many are already looking forward to seeing. For the Golden State Warriors, they made it known via their Twitter account, and found an adorable way to do it.

Instead of the usual graphic designs to highlight the details of the schedule, the Dubs used puppies from Rocket Dog Rescue, a local dog rescue organization from the Bay Area, to announce who they will play against. They had the puppies wear a miniature version of their jerseys, as well as the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans', to signify who their opponents are come opening week.

For the rematch of last season’s finals to be played on December 25th, they had a stuffed toy dog wearing the Cleveland Cavaliers uniform stand around the cute animals.

This certainly goes to show how creative their social media team is, as they found a way to make the announcement unique, and get the attention of their supporters. It also highlights how involved they are with their communities, by giving the dog rescue organization a free advertisement in the process.

Starting this October, the Warriors will start the defense of their title which they won back in June. It will be their chance to start a dynasty, by winning their second consecutive championship, and third in the last four years. Other teams have been trying to chase them by completing deals this summer to improve their rosters. However, by keeping their core intact, the Warriors continue to be the favorites to win it all, and extend their run of success.
