Golden State Warriors newcomer DeMarcus Cousins appears to be fully adjusted to life with his new team. So much so, that the 28-year-old big man was a very vocal participant in the Warriors' preseason opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves. What started out as a routine in-game conversation between Cousins and All-Star teammate Draymond Green, quickly turned out into what appeared like a tutoring session addressed at third-year man Damian Jones.

Cousins and Green are two of the most outspoken individuals in the league today, but in this instance, it seems like the latter was happy to let his new teammate do most of the talking. Green appeared to hold back and did not exhibit his usual fervor. Perhaps he was also looking to let Cousins get his two cents in as a way to help the summer recruit acclimatize to his new team quicker. After all, it is the preseason, and not much is at stake.

For his part, Jones would be in a great position to learn from arguably one of the best centers in the NBA today. Cousins definitely knows a thing or two about playing down low, and as made evident in this clip, is more than willing to share his knowledge with his new teammate.

For now, Cousins will need to settle for a supporting role on the bench as he recovers from his Achilles injury. He watched from the sidelines as his Warriors fell at the hands of the Wolves with a final score of 110-114.
