Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins faked the hell out of Charlotte Hornets big man Cody Zeller en route to a strong finish.

Cousins unleashed a nasty fake which sent Zeller flying. Once the lane was clear, Cousins didn't waste time and unleashed a big slam.

This wouldn't be possible if Cousins didn't possess a touch from the outside. Cousins is tagged as a modern day big man — a player who possesses can battle it out in the paint, but at the same time, has the ballhandling and shooting skill of a guard.

Entering Monday's game against the Hornets, DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 14.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 blocks per game. He's shooting 42.3 percent from the field and 76.5 percent from the free-throw lone.

It is important to note that the 28-year-old has only played 14 matches this season. As he plays more games and syncs into the Warriors' playstyle, fans should expect his numbers to improve. In fact, he may reach top form once the playoffs begin.

As a team, the Dubs will be gunning for their third straight title and fourth overall in the last five years. Cousins, for his part, will be aiming for his first Larry O'Brien trophy.
