With Kevin Durant injured and out, the Golden State Warriors need everyone to step up in Game 6 against the Houston Rockets. Shaun Livingston responded to that challenge early by literally leaping over the hurdle.

Midway through the second quarter of the game, Livingston gave the Warriors a morale-booster with a huge dunk over Rockets center Clint Capela. Receiving the pass from Jonas Jerebko, the veteran guard came running into the rim for the epic throwdown.

Capela raised his hand to distract Livingston, but he made a great decision not to jump and avoid being on the wrong end of a poster slam.

Livingston has been a non-factor for the Warriors in the playoffs so far. In five games against the Rockets, he was a negative in the plus/minus box score four times.

The 33-year-old Illinois native is averaging 2.6 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in the 2019 postseason. At the half of Game 6, he has tallied six points, two rebounds and one assist.

Golden State is in danger of losing the series against the Rockets with the injury to Durant, so they certainly needed that spark from Livingston. And if they want to take down Houston, the Dubs would need that kind of production from Shaun and their bench consistently.
