Fans of the Golden State Warriors were awaiting the return of Stephen Curry and he didn't take long to show off his 3-point prowess again. Late in the fourth quarter, Curry shook Jarrett Allen of the Brooklyn Nets to make his first 3-pointer of the new season.

It has been a slow start for the new-look Warriors as the Nets have taken a double-digit lead early in the contest. However, it's still a positive development for Golden State to have Curry back in the lineup.

Whenever Curry sees a big man on him, the first thing he is going to look to do is perform dribble moves to embarrass them. While Allen played decent defense, Curry was able to create enough space from Allen to get off his quick-triggered 3-point shot, giving the Warriors some life on offense.

In the first quarter, Curry finished with a team-high nine points, one rebound, and three assists for Golden State. Though, he made three of his first eight shots, missing three 3-pointers in the process.

Last season, Curry was limited to five games due to a broken hand, which was something that Curry said was one of the toughest things he's had to experience in his career. If the Warriors hope to sneak back into the game against the Nets on opening night, Curry is going to have to supply more 3-pointers.
