Former Golden State Warriors forward Stephen Jackson was irate at the idea that New York Knicks legend Walt Frazier would consider putting an asterisk by Kevin Durant's name when it comes to the all-time greats.

Frazier recently said he couldn't give Durant the credit for his two championships after the 2014 MVP bolted for Golden State in 2016, becoming one of many old school players to denounce his achievements.

Jackson was having none of it, going on a minute-long rant to defend KD from what seems like another member of Dave Chappelle's Playa Haters' Club.

“Man, I can't believe Walt Frazier was talking about there's gonna be an asterisk by the side of KD's name. C'mon Walton,” said Stephen Jackson starting his rant, comparing his very own career (12,976 points) to the Hall of Famer's (15,581 points). “Nobody wanna hear that s**t, Walton. KD is a champion, there ain't no asterisk by his name. He's going down as one of the best ever when he's finished with this game.”

“Let the man live — because he didn't make the decision that you wanted him to make? C'mon Walton, sit your dusty suit-wearing-a** down, man. Looking like you got one of them suits off Beetlejuice. C'mon, stop it, bruh. I can't let you ride on the younger generation, old-head.”

Frazier is one of many with this sentiment, willing to invalidate KEvin Durant's championship due to his free agent decision.

Jackson, who mustered his only championship playing for the San Antonio Spurs in 2003, knows that it takes more than just joining a star-studded team to win a title.

Frazier won two titles of his own with the New York Knicks in 1970 and 1973, coincidentally the last two the franchise mustered since then.
