The Golden State Warriors have won the ESPY award for Best Team after winning the NBA title with a dominating 16-1 win-loss record in the postseason.

The Warriors also sported the league's best regular-season record and were ranked as the best offense and a top three defense throughout the course of the 2016-17 campaign.

The addition of perennial All-Star forward Kevin Durant and a revamped bench full of important contributions got Golden State to another gear after coming a game shy of winning the title in 2016, winning the rubber match against the Cleveland Cavaliers, opponent which they faced in the NBA Finals for three straight seasons.

The organization has now piled up 254 total wins during their three-year run since head coach Steve Kerr took over the reins, an all-time NBA record.
