Not too long ago, Washington Football Team's Deshazor Everett was reported to be in a car crash that killed his girlfriend. It's been a sad, and ongoing situation as Everett seems to be fine after suffering injuries from the crash. However, he has lost a loved one and has finally broken his silence since that tragic car crash.

Deshazor Everett took to social media to thank everyone who has prayed for him and the family of his deceased girlfriend, Olivia. This has been an emotional time for Everett and Olivia's family, but it's nice to see the Washington player finally make a statement.

The situation regarding Deshazor Everett's car crash is much different from other accidents we've seen this season. Police found no trace of anybody driving under the influence. It just happened to be an accident. Hopefully, Washington is taking care of Everett through this troublesome time.

He's played 14 games for the Washington Football Team so far this year and has recorded 10 total tackles. He's been a consistent backup cornerback for this franchise since 2015. We'll see what happens in the offseason, as we could see Everett return to the Football Team next year. That would be an ideal situation, as he'd keep playing for the same organization as they continue building the roster.

For now, Everett's main focus is football as he attempts to move on from the fatal car crash. It's been a rough year for him, so hopefully, better things are ahead for the Washington cornerback.
