The Washington Football Team got straight-up embarrassed on Sunday Night Football. They had no answers for the Dallas Cowboys as they were routed in every aspect of the game. It was so brutal, that a mini brawl ensued on the bench as the Football Team had no chance to surmount a comeback. Quarterback Taylor Heinicke opened up afterward about what transpired on Sunday night.
According to Nicki Jhabvala, Heinicke opened up with a brutally honest take on Washington's performance against the Cowboys:
Taylor Heinicke: "It's the same story from two weeks ago. They just kicked our ass in all three phases of the game."

At the end of the day, there isn't much else for Washington's quarterback to say. Dallas came out and dominated from the jump, going up 21-0 rather quickly in the first quarter. To make matters worse, the Cowboys' defense and special teams dominated similarly to the offense. It was a complete game out of Dallas and was a rather spectacular performance.
Furthermore, Heinicke didn't mince words when reacting to Washington's tough loss on Sunday Night Football, per Ben Standig:
Heinicke went on to say he felt fine physically after dealing with covid, and that on the field, "we just got our asses kicked." https://t.co/fa3UL8n3Yy

The Dallas Cowboys came to play and Washington didn't even show up. It was a shellacking from the very beginning, so now the Football Team is likely at the lowest point they can go. This franchise might be thinking of the offseason already, as there is some work to do to fix this mess.
We'll see how Washington responds in Week 17 when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles. Hopefully, Football Team fans don't get their hopes up too high, as Philadelphia is inching close to clinching a Wild Card spot in the playoffs.
Maybe this time around Washington can put up a fight against the Eagles, as they'll look to spoil Philadelphia's playoff hopes. Even so, that's not a bet anyone should be willing to risk.
