The Washington Football Team entered Sunday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys with their season on the line. They had lost two straight games and had fallen to 6-8 on the season. In last week's loss, Washington captain and defensive stalwart Jonathan Allen voiced his frustration with the defense. The Philadelphia Eagles had run wild over Washington's defense.
Things did not get any better Sunday night. With the team already trailing 28-7 in the first half, Daron Payne vented frustration on the sidelines.

Payne was yelling at teammates and then stood up and pointed his finger in the direction of Jonathan Allen. Allen took exception to that. He pushed Payne's finger out of his face, stood up and threw a right cross at his teammate.
Teammates had to separate the two. A few moments later, Payne barked at Allen once again.
Dallas then scored on the next possession, building a massive 35-7 lead late in the 2nd quarter. With things getting out of hand, and Washington's season slipping away, things might get worse.
The Cowboys are looking to improve to 11-4 on the season and stay alive for overall top seed in the NFC. That spot is currently held by the Green Bay Packers who are 12-3. However, if the Packers slip up the last two weeks, and the Cowboys can win out, Dallas would get the only first round bye. The Cowboys have the best conference record, which they are soon to improve upon once Sunday night's game is over.
Barring a miracle comeback, Washington will drop to 6-9 and essentially out of playoff contention.
