The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell just short of advancing to the NFC Championship Game, as they lost to the Los Angeles Rams on a last-second field goal. Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians looked ahead to the offseason when speaking to reporters and revealed one thing he doubts that Tampa Bay can accomplish again, via NBC Sports.

“It’s a reload like it is every year,” Arians said, via the team’s website. “Our [priority] in free agency will be our guys — see how many that we can get back and then build a team from there. I always look forward to that part of it, and then the draft. Each year is so different and so new. Last year, to get everybody back was amazing. I doubt we can do it all again this year, but we’re sure going to give it our best.”

Looking ahead to the Buccaneers offseason, head coach Bruce Arians said that the priority remains to “reload.” Tampa Bay has as many as 25 veteran contracts expiring, including key Tom Brady weapons, such as Leonard Fournette, Chris Godwin, and Rob Gronkowski, as well as important defenders, such as Jason Pierre-Paul, Carlton Davis and Ndamukong Suh.

It won't be easy keeping all those players, which is something Arians acknowledged about the Buccaneers offseason. Making things even more difficult is the unpredictable futures of both Brady and Rob Gronkowski, who both seem to be seriously mulling over the thought of playing again.

Bruce Arians and the Buccaneers will surely do their best to reload this offseason, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the team look very different.
