Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani is doing things this season that we haven't seen in the MLB since Babe Ruth. When you lead the bigs in home runs and absolutely dominate on the mound, you're going to have lots of fans. Former Atlanta Braves outfielder David Justice is one of them.

Justice, who played 13 years in the majors, believes that Ohtani is better than Ruth because of one reason in particular. Per TMZ Sports:

“Ruth only played against farmers and oh, he only played against one race. Unlike Shohei Ohtani, Babe didn't play against Negro League players, Latin players, or Asian players.”

Justice made it clear that he wasn't trying to hate on Ruth, he just believes that Shohei Ohtani is really that special. He does have a point, though. The MLB was essentially white when Babe played and there were definitely no guys throwing in the high 90s. Plus, look at baseball now. It's full of Latin-born players who are extremely talented.

After all,  Ohtani has already clubbed a league-leading 40 long balls while also throwing triple-digits on the hill. As great as Babe Ruth was, he wasn't this talented in two areas of the game like Ohtani.

We really could be looking at the most talented player this sport has ever seen in Shohei Ohtani.
