Washington Wizards star Russell Westbrook is the king of triple-doubles. There's just no denying that now. Russ' recent triple-double streak has been so impressive that it has blown even the great Oscar Robertson out of the water.

Here's a look at how absurd Westbrook has been over the past month or so (h/t ESPN Stats & Info on Twitter):

Russell Westbrook logged another monster triple-double on Friday against his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Russ led the Wizards to a 129-109 blowout win over the Thunder with 37 points (on 14-of-23 shooting), 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.

In case you were wondering, here are Westbrook's numbers over the last 30 games (prior to Friday's win over OKC): 22.8 points, 12.1 rebounds, 11.8 assists and 1.7 steals. The former league MVP is on pace to average another triple-double this season.

In terms of total career triple-doubles, however, it's still Oscar Robertson who leads this particular all-time category. The Big O has 181 career triple-doubles. Westbrook is quickly catching up on him though, with Friday's masterpiece marking his 175th career trip-dub. He's now just six behind Robertson, and at the rate Russ is going right now, it wouldn't be surprising if he ends up becoming the all-time triple-double leader in two weeks' time.

You also have to note that it's not all about stuffing the stat sheet for Westbrook. His torrid run has led the Wizards to seven consecutive wins as they close in on the eighth seed in the East. After Friday's victory, Washington is now just three games behind the eighth-placed Charlotte Hornets.
