But after missing WrestleMania 37 last year, the first time in twenty years, many were left wondering if his bout against Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36 is already his final WrestleMania appearance. Here's what the sixteen-time WWE World Champion has to say about his WrestleMania plans.

John Cena was at the Ellen DeGeneres show to promote his upcoming Suicide Squad spin-off show at HBO Max. However, you can't have John Cena on your set and merely ask about Peacemaker – you also ask him about his wrestling plans. And that's exactly what Ellen asked. When asked about the possibility of him appearing on WrestleMania 38, Cena says:

“WrestleMania is usually in the cusp of late March, early April. I don’t know if I’m going to make it this year. That’s a good conundrum to have because there are a lot of good opportunities coming up, which I would love to take. If all those things line up, I don’t know if I’ll be able to make WrestleMania.”

John Cena's already made it big on Hollywood, and he'd really think twice before saying no to a starring role that will clash with WrestleMania 38's schedule. While Cena remains to be one of WWE's biggest paid stars, that doesn't automatically mean that it's going to be his most paid gig. His star power already makes him one of Hollywood's biggest attractions, and it's not hard to imagine him choosing a role in a new film rather than being on the match card of WrestleMania 38.
